Supporting and inspiring young people, aged 11-19 years, to reach their full potential.

Aspire 2 Succeed is an inspirational registered charity (1189026) founded in 2015. It exists to develop all our young people so that they can thrive and be empowered to contribute at every stage of their lives. Our group of committed professional volunteers, provide our young people with an innovative range of educational, personal and social life skills such as communication, teamwork, and leadership. At Aspire 2 Succeed, young people also have the opportunity to meet new people and be part of a diverse group of peers.

Aspire 2 Succeed has three underpinning core values:

• we work with young people on their terms
• we advocate on behalf of young people and the sector
• we are committed to working in partnerships

Youth advocacy sits at the heart of our organisation and informs everything we do. Consequently, we have youth representation, with full voting rights, on our Board of Trustees. We also, encourage and support our young people to participate in decision making within wider community organisations. Aspire 2 Succeed regularly has representation on Derby Youth Voice Council which influences strategies for Derby’s youth policies. This gives our young members the opportunity to strengthen links with other youth organisations, build relationships with decision makers and inspire other young people to take action on issues that matter to them the most.
